Question Answer
Did you know?

The next time you see water boiling on the stove, you know exactly what Propane is doing inside your tank. Water boils at 212 degrees Fahrenheit. Propane boils at 44 degrees below zero to create Propane vapor. Propane is stored as a liquid and then used as a vapor in your appliances. A gallon of liquid Propane creates 270 gallons of Propane vapor. As the Propane vapor is used from your tank, Propane liquid boils to replace it. This winter, when it is -10 degrees below zero, look at your Propane tank and remember that the temperature is still boiling hot to propane!
Why do Propane gas prices fluctuate?
-top

In a free market economy many supply factors affect the pricing of all goods, including Propane. Propane comes from crude oil and natural gas. It's wholesale pricing usually tracks the cost of crude oil. When the OPEC Nations cuts production in an effort to increase prices, the price of Propane also begins to rise. Weather also has a large impact on energy prices. Colder than normal temperature will mean greater demand and prices for all heating fuels will rise as production companies work to meet that demand.

There are several factors that will influence Propane prices
-Record high crude oil prices
-Record high natural gas prices
-Low US Propane inventory levels
-Low US Propane imports

According to recent US Department of Energy statistics, Propane is HALF the price of electricity per BTU. Propane gas is safe, clean-burning and is still your best value!

Do you have a payment plan?
-top
We offer a FREE budget payment plan, which allows our customers to spread their energy costs throughout the year.
Can natural gas appliances be converted to Propane gas?
-top
YES! Most natural gas appliances can be converted into Propane gas. Propane is an excellent alternative for natural gas. It offers the same energy efficiency and is available anywhere natural gas is not.
How long does it take to install a gas system?
-top
In the spring/summer months, when our demand is low, we can schedule and perform a gas installation within a couple days. In the fall/winter months our demand rises and may take longer to schedule and perform a gas installation. When possible, customers should plan ahead to avoid the seasonal rush.
Do you provide service for the appliances and equipment that you sell?
-top
YES! We have a fully trained staff ready to install and service the Propane appliances and equipment that we sell. But our service to you doesn't stop there. We are constantly going to more training with the latest in product technology to ensure dependable, fast service.
